Membership subscription

Annual membership subscription is £50.00.

3 months membership subscription is £18.00.

1 day membership is £5.00.

The Institute, a registered charity, relies on both membership income and class fees to fund the running of the centre.

Members are entitled to attend regular classes and yoga days, receive free copies of Dipika, Institute’s journal, and may be eligible for concessions. The concessionary rate for JSA holders, full-time students, OAPs and those on family income support is £2.00 less per class than other members. Members are also entitled to buy a yogacard - 11 classes at a reduced price which is valid for 6 months.

Membership fee is not refundable. All members should be aware that £1 of their membership fee will be maintained in a separate account to cover member’s guarantee. This is a one-off payment only and not an annual requirement. More details are available on request. Membership is compulsory if you wish to attend classes regularly.

How to Join:
In order to join, just fill out a membership form which you can pick up at the Institute or download here. Please make your cheque for £50 or £18 payable to "IYIMV" and make sure you complete the declaration form as well. Once your membership is processed, there will be a membership card waiting for you at reception. Please bring your card with you when attending classes.

Renewal:
If you are late in renewing your membership, it will be backdated to when your membership last expired.

Gift Aid:
The Gift Aid scheme allows the Institute to claim back income tax on your membership fee at no extra expense or obligation to you.
Please consider signing the declaration on the opposite page if you are a UK taxpayer/resident in the UK for tax purposes. It is required that you will not claim concessionary rates during the year.

Bring a Friend for Free:
Every annual membership will include a Bring a Friend for Free voucher. The voucher can be collected
from reception on payment of membership and can be used at any time during the year (by a non-member).
