Pixie Lillas
Pixie is a senior Iyengar yoga teacher currently living in Sydney, Australia. She first started practising yoga in Florence in 1976 under the instruction of Dona Holleman. In the following year she travelled to Pune and has been returning there on an annual basis ever since. Pixie currently holds a Junior Advanced certificate.
Annie Ciekanski
Annie is originally from France, but now divides her time between France, Pune and travelling worldwide for workshops. She has studied Iyengar Yoga for 20 years, learning directly from the Iyengars on her frequent stays at the Pune Institute.
First Aid Course with Elaine Martin
Elaine Martin is a qualified Iyengar yoga teacher as well as an experienced First Aid trainer, and offers courses tailored specifically to the needs of yoga teachers.
Please note that all newly qualified teachers are now required to have a basic First Aid certificate, and that this will eventually be a requirement for all Iyengar yoga teachers.

Beginners:
requires a minimum of three months practice of Iyengar yoga
General: requires a minimum
of two years practice of Iyengar Yoga
Intermediate:
requires a minimum of four years practice of Iyengar Yoga and ability
to
maintain stable head balance for five minutes.
If you are menstruating or have any injuries or medical
conditions that may affect your participation
in the workshop/course please let the teacher know at the beginning
of the workshop.

Terms and conditions
If IYIMV cancels a workshop/course a full refund will be given.
No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations
where there is no one to
take your place.
If there is a waiting list, cancellations made at least
a week prior to the workshop will
incur a £5 cancellation fee.
No refund or credit will be granted for any workshop cancelled during the week prior to the workshop/course.
Admission is at the discretion of IYIMV. The workshop
teacher may assess if this is
an appropriate workshop/course for your needs and abilities
Please note that Beginners Yoga 3 hour workshops days require at least 3 months' regular Iyengar yoga practice. This ensures that the group of students have had enough Iyengar yoga experience to know some of the postures and to be familiar with the equipment. If you have a health problem or are unsure if the day or workshop is suitable, you should discuss this with your regular teacher or contact the office.
